EnviroTek Engine Technologies (ETET.CO) welcomes Dr. Tony Cheng to its executive management team.

HONG KONG, May 27, 2011 – Dr. Cheng brings a wealth of experience to his post as the Director of Business Development. He was the founder and Managing Director of BMI Appraisals Limited (an international appraisal company with offices in over 20 cities globally). Since 2005, Dr. Cheng also served in a senior management capacity in the Asset Management Division of BMI Group. BMI established the Dr. Tony Cheng Scholarship for Fresh Fish Trader School for students from low income families of minority groups and new migrants from mainland China. The scholarship in Dr. Cheng’s namesake aims to reward academic excellence by providing immediate assistance to lessen their family’s financial burdens.

As ETET’s new Director of Business Development, Dr. Cheng brings a wide spectrum of expertise in corporate finance, investment, engineering, environmental, and pharmaceutical industries. He has consulted on numerous global real estate investment and business valuations, as well as on major infrastructure projects in the Asia Pacific Rim. He shares his wealth of knowledge by teaching land economics and valuation for Curtin University of Technology and the University of Hong Kong for over 8 years.

Prior to joining ETET, Dr. Cheng served as an investment advisor of the Dragonrider Opportunity Fund, organized by Asiasons Capital Limited (a Singapore Listed Company). This PE fund focused on Consumers and Resources within elite industrials sectors in emerging East Asia markets (i.e. China, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia). He also served as a Council member on the Board of Education in the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors. In addition to being a Council member of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers (China), Dr. Cheng has recently been elected as the Chairman of the institute.

Respected as a valuable advisor, Dr. Cheng has been an independent executive director of North Mining Shares Company Limited (Stock Code: 433) since 2000, and is serving as a member of the Financial and Regulatory Affairs Committee of the Chamber of Hong Kong Listed Companies, along with serving as a member of the Environment and Sustainability Committee of the HKGCC.
