PHEV Drive and Motor-Generators

EnviroTek EVT-90 1.2 Liter Series Hybrid PHEV Drive Systems

EnviroTek’s Motor Matrices Drive System Technology utilizes EnviroTek’s 1.2 liter EVT-90 highly fuel-efficient ICE and compounding motor-generators that produce a simultaneous drive energy or charging energy circuit base on driver demands, greatly reducing powertrain parasitic losses and increasing vehicle electric range while reducing fuel consumption for long distances.

EnviroTek incorporates highly efficient electric motor technology into a transmission-like housing using sequential clutching and power source compounding – benefiting from a small package and high power density. The unique attributes of the system design provides for a charging circuit, a series charging and drive circuit and a parallel drive circuit. The EnviroTek system operates in series and parallel modes (1) a low power demand electric cruse mode, (2) a regeneration charging mode, (3) a 2 stage electric drive mode and (4) a parallel high power demand mode.

Motor Matrices – The Electric Drive of Today

The new administration’s drive for “electrification” of light duty personal and commercial vehicles creates an urgency for hundreds of garage inventors, backroom visionaries, entrepreneurs, part time engineers, professionals and automakers to develop and launch the next wave of efficient transportation that will potentially bear fruit for the struggling U.S. automotive industry. With escalating costs and the lack of cash, automakers that typically manufactured millions of their own design, gasoline and diesel engines over the past 125 years are now considering ways to partner and utilize outsource suppliers to provide them with advanced powertrains for current and future electric and hybrid vehicle models. The Growth of the Market will expand 1,000 percent in the next 5 years based on DOE projections driven by the new administration’s efforts to increase the fleet of vehicles with electric drive. Tremendous growth in the electrification of cars over the next 7 – 10 years is well accepted, rising to 20% of the U.S. market by 2015.

U.S. based companies produced over 18,000,000 vehicles in 2007 with the lowest forecasts for 2010 to be 11,000,000. The U.S. Department of Energy predicts that over 20% of all U.S. car sales will be electric drive vehicles by 2015. Tremendous growth in the electrification of cars over the next 7 – 10 years is well accepted, rising to 20% of the U.S. market by 2015.
